X1 Technologies Announces New CEO and Chairman Along With Additional Funding
X1 Technologies Names John Waller as CEO and Bill Gross as Chairman of the Board
Along With Additional Capital Investment by Idealab

PASADENA, CA – May 26, 2009 X1 Technologies, Inc., an innovator in highly usable enterprise search and eDiscovery solutions, today announced two changes to the executive team and additional funding from Idealab. John Waller, who was previously President and COO, has been promoted to CEO. Mr. Waller has been with X1 for almost two years and succeeds the company's former CEO, Harold "Bud" Enright. Mr. Enright currently serves on the boards of several Idealab operating companies and will continue on as a board member for X1. In addition, Bill Gross, CEO of Idealab, the primary investor in X1, will re-join the company as Chairman of the Board. Mr. Gross was one of the founders of X1 and is the co-author of three patents awarded to X1 with several more pending. In conjunction with these announcements, Idealab has provided additional funding to X1 to facilitate the company's growth.
